I'm a veteran, former medical specialist. I am a truck driver, 48 states (and Canada) but I have been doing western region since I started. I am a few months away from switching to owner operator, the first step in starting my own business. I enjoy driving because I get to see new places every day. Its kinda nice having a bed to lay down in after a 10 hour road trip; just have to find a place to park first. I love the out doors and nature, which is probably why I don't mind taking the old highways that I am routed through. I have an 8 year old daughter at home, but I rarely get to see her now that I am running otr. Its hard at times, because I raised her for the first 6 years of her life (single dad) but when she is old enough to be allowed on board, she will be riding with me as much as possible. I have a border collie / lab puppy that loves to chew on me. I'm not much of a drinker, unless it is dark roast coffee! Never been into drugs (guess that makes me square), and while I listen to just about every genre of music, I prefer country while I'm driving. It relaxes me, plus its good driving music.
I guess I have a sarcastic sense of humor, I'm not as funny as I think I am, but I still try to make people laugh when ever possible. I like happy people, so it works out.
I don't make promises I can't keep, so if I do promise something, I mean it. I'm not into dating several women, I'm more of a one woman man. I'm honest, even if it gets me into trouble. Lies hurt people, and I don't like hurting. Faithful Leo, always have been, always will be.
