I read a lot. I do not watch television. - This whole Trump thing about the media circus being a lot of manipulative public mind directing I knew already well 30 years ago, and turned off my television. (My ex-wife actually actually first enlightened me on a better quality of life without TV.) There are some good shows on television; but along with the good there is not just "fake" news, but outright destructive reporting and straight out lying as well. ... Oh, and then tolerate commercials in between the programming on top of that! ... I did myself one of my biggest favors and turned the TV off. I now subscribe and watch Gaia TV, and do Netflix instead! Try it. - You will find yourself feeling lighter, happier, and enjoying your surroundings in closer detail with crisp quality of mind.
I use the internet a lot for information. What to be found on the internet is truly astounding. I subscribe to 6 different shows currently, and listen to pre-recorded shows during optimum times for me. - and no commercials. Soma FM for music is great. George Nori on Coast to Coast and Jimmy Church Radio both have got some really good guests; (but not all of them, of course.) Richard Hoagland's The Other Side of Midnight is not Bad. - There are other good guests and show hosts to be found on similar shows. I just finished listening to Jimmy Church's radio show at Contact in the Desert that just concluded a few days ago (May 23, 2017); stupendous show. I like to cook, garden, exercise, drive in the car, or do home improvement projects while listening to good shows.
Using the internet takes a discerning mind that knows how to collect and analyze data over time. - Just like riding a motorcycle around on the freeways of Los Angeles, it can be very dangerous for beginners and intermediates alike. (When a young man or woman asks me here in Los Angeles if they should take up motorcycle riding I tell them not to; get a scooter at most for back-up transportation, and just drive local streets.) Anyway, the internet has anything you want to find for enriching life and the quest for enlightenment; but it has all the pitfalls of wading through the India Jones Temple of Doom. - Some people just aren't going to make it. But I would rather risk it myself than choose the alternative of "popular" globalist media here in the United States any day of the week! (There are six corporations that own all of the major media throughout the U.S.; and sure, sure, they haven't got any commitments to globalist corps., right?) ...
Do I write like I am desperately working to find a good match? Well maybe not..., but I really am. -
