I love to make people laugh. When people are around me they tend to be laughing a lot. I hope it's because I say some funny things and am generally a happy dude. If not, I will just keep pretending.
I also love to cook. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. I am always trying new recipes, new techniques, reading new books or cooking blogs, or buying a new kitchen toy. I also get pretty excited by good coffee and have been learning a lot of different ways to make a good cup. A quick way to earn my undying friendship is to give me good or interesting coffee.
I am definitely a bit of a nerd. I write software for a living, I love sci-fi and Fantasy, and I play video games. On the flip side, I also love the outdoors - fishing, hunting, all that good stuff. I really like to go fishing. I usually go salt water fishing, but now that I am here in NC I guess I need to brush up on my fresh water.
I'm new to the NC area and don't really know anyone so that is what prompted me to make this profile. I'd love to meet some people, both for friends and for finding a great girl.
