I am glad you chose to read my profile but as you might know the only way to know a persons personality is by talking in person or by phone. So now they want me to describe myself. Ok, I retired an Architect/Engineer from the Naval Medical Center San Diego. I have lived, worked and traveled all over the world and the US. At the time I retired I lived in Del Mar then Oceanside and now in Sugarloaf (Big Bear Lake area). So beautiful and peaceful up here, out of the rat race but willing to move if need be. Now what you have been waiting for is to learn who and what I am really like. I am a hopeless romantic, great sense of humor, and have a very open mind. Dont let the age fool you I am still very active and in great health. Dont be shy, answer my ad and lets see what happens, ok? Let me warn you that I am real and honest to a fault, if you want real affection and a man that loves to please a woman then dont pass me by, but if you want a man that you can control then pass me by. Now about the woman I am looking for, she must be attractive (at least to me), a woman that can think for herself or think outside the box so to speak, she must be between 65 to 75 and not look like my grandmother or daughter to date. She must have an open mind and not be afraid of real life, a positive thinking woman, a woman that knows who she really is not pretentious, tell it like it is, I am that way but in a loving way. I am looking for the same thing most women are looking for like; love, affection, intimacy, friends and companionship. I truly believe that passion should always come before friends mainly because you and I are on this site to find that chemistry and spark, friends we can meet and the market place, we are all looking for love. If you are waiting for just friends first to me it takes a long time to find that great friendship, at this age do you want to waste that time? Also the woman for me should also have some passion and would still like to find that wild side of each other, lets have fun together. I read somewhere, "What's more important in a relationship!, Love, affection, honesty, loyalty, trust, monogamy, romance, intimacy or if you like sex.
Now, some tips to the American women, you are on this site to find what? As a normal man, yes, family, friends are very important to me also but meeting a potential partner my total interest is to find out if we are a good match, not interested in learning about your family at this point, if we match then it would be time to meet them, to me it is a turn off when seeing photos of your children, grandkids, your friends photos, I want to see you. If you are just looking for a companion or just friends then yes show all of those photos. To me this is just common sense
So much to say so I will leave that up to you if we meet. Oh, almost forgot to say I would hope you love cat's, I have 3 cats that I love dearly.
