I see myself as an adventurer. I love traveling, photography, living and working in foreign countries. I enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting all kinds of people. I like volunteer work but I also like to work and get paid. It is important to stay fit - working out at a health club, playing tennis, eating organic. I am creative, flexible, generous and love to discuss all sorts of topics. I am a romantic and looking for that special person who is kind, honest, and considerate. I love music - summer pops concert on the grass, jazz band in a cozy bar, and sultry singers in an upbeat night club could be an ideal setting for a date.
I was a teacher for 35 years and recently a flight attendant for Southwest airlines. I have lived in 6 countries and have traveled to more than 70. I like to do unusual things when I travel so I can get to meet the people and understand the culture. I have worked as a volunteer in India, traveled across Sweden in the oldest ship in service, traveled up the Nile with an Egyptian family, hired a taxi driver for the day to see Petra in Jordan. I love to travel and turn it into an adventure. Several years ago, I did volunteer work with abandoned elderly women in Salvador, Brazil, went on a medical mission to Cuba, traveled to Nova Scotia and enjoyed Peggy"s Cove, took a photography tour and worked with professional photographers in Venice. My son and I went on a train trip through the Canadian Rocky Mountains and later that summer I did an independent two week tour to Argentina - traveling to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and the second largest wet lands in the world - Iberia. Last year I went on a Road Scholar Tour to Iceland. We traveled around the whole island and the photography was spectacular. My next adventure is a two week independent photography tour to Cambodia.
