Update 22nd August 2017. Have been discharged from consultant today and was told I can restart my driving but only local trips at first. Now I'm concentrating on getting back to full health.

Update 2nd August 2017. Have had surgery, came home last night, now begins the road to recovery. Hopefully will be fighting fit and driving again in 6 weeks.

I want companionship and friendship and must be a dog lover as she comes as part of the package.
I'm 65yrs, live in Wythall, south of Birmingham, five foot tall or should that be short ha ha. A little overweight, however I am addressing that. I am solvent but not wealthy by any means, own house and car. I have two sons of which I'm very proud, one in Switzerland, one in London plus two grandchildren.
I believe I am caring and genuine, love this country and animals. I like days out and coach trips, however need a bit of notice to enable me to book my dog in with her carer. I holiday in this country as I really don't like flying. I can't do a lot of holidays in a year because of cost ( both accommodation and cost of dog carer). I have started collecting buddhas, some I get from car boots and antique fairs, some are gifts from family. I enjoy doing basic DIY and decorating (when I can get the motivation). I prefer to be in jeans but can dress up to suit the occasion. The usual cinema trips, NT properties are good too. I also like to meditate most days as it's a great stress reliever, I attend a Mindfulness Class every week.
Would love to meet a man who is sincere, honest, smart in appearance and treats a lady with respect.
