Hi. I'm a 63 year old, been widowed for over 3 years. I have two grown up children who live away from home but keep a good eye on me - Apparently now I'm this old, I'm not able to look after myself! I still work as a receptionist for the NHS which I enjoy.
As it says in my profile I am big build, I'm only pointing this out because not everyone reads the profiles properly. I am losing weight and have already lost 3 stone so won't always be big build! Photos are before weight loss will update them shortly. Quite honestly though, if you are a person who judges others purely by their size, you aren't the person I'm looking for. I'm a happy person, honest and loyal and have a good sense of humour. I don't get angry often or sulk if I can't have my own way.
I enjoy days out and holidays, (who doesn't?) I like visiting old houses, and churches. Antique shops, galleries, museums, concerts, the theatre etc. My favourite holiday would be a cruise. Weekend away, the lakes or Wales. I enjoy eating in restaurants and pubs, but am equally happy with fish and chips out of paper on the beach at sunset. I enjoy most music, but my favourite is 60's and 70'S.
I've just read through this and I sound so boring! I'll give it some thought and change it later. I promise you, I'm anything but boring!
I'm looking for friendship to start with (the best things start with friendship) and see what happens. In the long term hopefully some to share life with.
