I cannot tell a lie...I have been described as "more Hard Work than High Maintenance" but at least he was chuckling when he said it. It comes from being a true Scorpio with all the quirks and foybles that go with it - prone to being secretive and stubborn, and doesn't trust easily, because underneath is a hopelessly loyal, caring individual guarded by a hearty dose of reliable intuition. My sense of humour has a mind of its own - lots of those "Did I really just say that out loud?!" moments, and if I can resist saying what I'm thinking my face usually tells it all anyway! I am originally from "oop north" (ok, it's all relative, north of Watford Gap at least!) so have a northern-type sense of humour.
Far more at home in jeans and trainers than heels and a dress, and a good meal in a quiet pub or a walk in the countryside is way preferable to attending a party. No pretence - what you see is what you get. Honesty is paramount.
Do I have baggage you ask? By our age who doesn't, but nothing a little liposuction and therapy wouldn't fix. Life leaves us all with dings and scratches, it's more about finding that person to whom they don't matter. Just looking for someone I can be myself and grow old disgracefully with. I hesitate to use the word "soulmate" - they can be the partner of your dreams or the stuff of nightmares, and sometimes both all rolled into one, but feel free to step forward.
