Hi ladies
Here I am - Easy-going - very flexible - not tied to where I currently live (no kids, no mortgage - no problems!)
I'm 5ft 9in, medium build and reasonably fit. Looking for a lovely easy-going lady, preferably a little shorter than myself. As you can see, I still have a full head of hair, teeth to match, and the rest of me works ok . . . except for my hearing! I'm unfortunately partially deaf, with tinnitus on one side, although with my good new hearing aids I can cope with most conversation . . . as long as there isn't too much background noise.
Originally a navigating officer in the Merchant Navy, and later a house-husband and carer for my ex's Mum, (which extended her life considerably), I am now retired. But I am quite active with my local U3A, teaching beginners Japanese and French, and a long-time member of Intermediate Spanish.
I love - and cook - food from all around the world.
I'm into folk music - from anywhere, but especially traditional Irish and English dance music, and every week play my bodhran and flute in an Irish dance music session that has been going for more than 40 years (me only the last 12 yrs).
I love camping (in comfort - I have all the kit for luxury!) and go to as many of the smaller folk festivals as possible.
I'm a relative newcomer to gardening (having spent a lot of my life at sea), but I now love growing fuschia from cuttings, and I'm learning more as I go along . . .
I'm hoping to meet a nice intelligent lady who shares at least some of my interests, as I miss having someone to love and care for, hold hands with wherever you are, and to share the pleasures of life with. So that is why I am here.
Smoking, though, is not on.
