The road from soul to soul is long but its always worth the journey...... You know, Woman came from the Mans Rib, not from his feet, to be walked on, not from his head, to be superior, but from his side, to be equal, under his arm to be protected, and next to his heart, to be Loved. Well well, who would have imagined we would be doing this at our time of life? Not many of us I"m sure, but we are where we are and have to make the best of it. If we knew what life had in store for us we would all be in a better place. We are all taking shots in the dark here but if you don"t swing the bat you won"t hit the ball. I am down to earth, honest ( lying is my worst nightmare ) genuine, and looking for a special Lady to make both our lives complete. I am a retired engineer, originally from Manchester but emigrated to New Zealand as a young man and spent thirty five years there so I have dual nationality...Kiwi/Brit. Settled back in Britain for three years now. Divorced because of infidelity.. Now have to pick up the pieces and start again. Young at heart, (slightly older in other places), easygoing, cheerful, sense of humour, love having things to do, going places, not a couch potato. Love music, especially 60s and 70s and also dancing, especially rock n roll, also I go sequence dancing twice a week, mainly because I love it but also it keeps me fit along with daily walking and exercise at home. I value all the normal things, walks in country or coast, days out, cosy nights in, holding hands, arm in arm. Still feel much younger than my age (but then don"t we all) and comfortable in casual jacket or suit. I am 5"9 , 13st, muscular, well built. Photo was taken last year and on the bike about five years ago, although I don"t have the bike anymore. My build is much the same, not much left on top now,( but grass doesn"t grow on a busy street.) Solvent, I have my own modest bungalow and car, and would love to meet an active, non smoking, slim/medium, or petite Lady, younger than me, who values loyalty, faithfulness, is caring and romantic, loves to dance, loves to laugh, loves life. Someone with good moral values. My nature is romantic, caring and loyal. I can hold a conversation about most things. Not into beer and football etc, I like reading, walking, dancing, days out, some tv but not rubbish, prefer a good film, also very practical and like diy. I was an engineer and like to do things with metal so one of my hobbies is making jewelry, rings, earings etc. In the past I have built my own house and run my own business. I would like to share the remainder of life"s journey with that special someone if we are lucky enough to meet. Every day alone is a day lost. Love is one thing money cannot buy. But it still has to be paid for! And you pay for it with time..... Not the wasting of it, but the spending of it.If any of this appeals to you, why not get in touch.
