Hi to all my fellow seekers of romance and friendship. I have recently embraced retirement and come full circle back to the delightful Tasmanian shores after 30 plus years residing in the urban metropolis of Melbourne. Words can't describe my sense of relief and peace which descended on me like a comforting cloak when I drove off the Spirit and on to my present locale...So now it is all different and new and my goals have changed somewhat. I am still a girl who always thinks the glass is half full, and plan on enjoying life to the max.
My interests are family, food, wine, music (varied eclectic), theatre, concerts and reading. I feel my access to theatre and concerts may be curtailed somewhat but I'm sure the local scene will suffice.. I am hoping to engage fully with the U3A group in my area which is very active. I would also like to become involved with a local Historical society as I am keen to learn more of my area.
I plan on being physically active and will enjoy the local area for walking and maybe even cycling, who knows!!!!! I may travel and will certainly reacquaint myself with all Tassie has to offer.
I know I will find this web site challenging, frustrating and hopefully interesting in my search to meet someone who shares my interests and values and in developing a meaningful relationship that will lead to who knows where. Life is full of exciting challenges.
Jeannie
