I am a positive and loving woman with strong ties to my family and friends. After nearly 38 years of teaching I still love my profession. I have taught many things over my career and experienced other ventures but always returned to my calling. While I love the work that I do with my students, what gives me the most pride are the 3 young men that I have raised on my own. They are compassionate, loving, loyal, committed and hardworking men with a wonderful zest for life and infectious sense of humour. These qualities that I also possess are what I am looking for in a companion. Someone who wants to share my life and I his. Who would like to travel either down south or further afield. Who loves music from Pavarotti to The Voice , at a concert or in the car. I can not tolerate negativity, you can not get to our age without having been dealt a few bad hands. However there are so many wonderful moments in life that far outweigh the pain. I choose to think of the rays of sunshine rather than the darkness of the storm. I have been called "Pollyanna" but I would rather that than the opposite!
