Taking one step further in my life can be a little daunting. Life is too short and precious, and being on your own can be a little lonely at times.
I am happy, comfortable and secure with my life, but it would be nice to find that 'special' person to enjoy spending time together and getting to know one another....and who knows where that could lead to. I believe that Im a down to earth person and hope that people see me as a sincere, honest, affectionate, loyal and caring lady.
Some of the things I like to do are: Going to the movies and theatre, eating out and BBQs, browsing shops/markets, going for long walks, being in the garden, spending time with family and friends. I am well travelled, but there is so much more to see, both overseas and in this great country of ours. I have plenty on my bucket list still to see and do!! Travelling would be much more fun sharing with someone I care about. I try to keep fit. I love dancing of any sort. I love animals. I still work part time and enjoy what I do - it also keeps me busy, but retiring is very tempting!!! I am enthusiastic and enjoy just about everything life has to offer.
I am looking for someone who looks for what is inside a person, rather than their looks or what they have or don't have. Someone who has a great sense of humour - who is just as happy in jeans and t-shirt as they are dressing up for that special occasion, just like I do.
I believe that trust, honesty and having mutual respect for each others values, affection and common interests are important in building any friendship/relationship. Respecting you for who you are, as I hope you would me - at our age it is not easy to change our ways!
