Been single for too many years, time to find the man who fits into my life and I in his. I'm a pretty tactile person, hold hands, cuddles, is what I'm missing, coming home from a day out and sharing my day with YOU and vice versa.
Initially, friends who can laugh and chat and have an outing or 2, love going for easy walks in the Grampians, touring local (and not so local) markets. Winter its AFL, snow, glhwein, summer the Great Ocean Road and Big Bash cricket, but only for fun. Love heading into Melbourne to walk around and just window shop, stop along the Yarra for a beer or 2. Share a music concert. Prefer to go out for an easy meal, rather than silver service, love having breakfast out somewhere new.
Now fully retired, so it would be great if you were also retired or very close to retirement. I volunteer here locally, and absolutely love my work, keeps the mind and body active. Love to read and browse on the net, deciding where I would like my next vacation....so much to see an do, so little time left...:). Like to do one major overseas vacation once ever 2-3 years...Still would like to see Australia again, but not on a pre-determined path, just wherever the track leads, and not in a hurry.
Non-smoker and social drink is a MUST, just as being TOTALLY single. Not negotiable on those 3 points. I'll pass on a gym-junkie, the only 6 pack I like is a 6 pack of Stella. Not into fitness and don't belong to the self-admiration club. Don't do the false fingernails and fake hair and eyelashes. Don't judge me on how I look, I am fully aware that I am no stunner, but that's good too, as not everyone can be 'perfect'. If you like a few (hidden) tatts, curves instead of lines, a good sense of humour, someone you can have an intelligent conversation with and who is proud of who she is and what she has achieved in life, drop me a 'hello'. On that note, bad teeth, untidy hair and nails are a massive turn off for me, as are the dreaded comb-over, if you are going bald, yummmmmy, I love a bald man.
If you love something that I haven't mentioned, introduce me to it, you never know, I may learn to love it as well. I totally believe that in any good relationship each person must have their own hobbies and interests and friends. If the 2 meld, all the better, if not, we are not Siamese Twins. If you want to go to Machu Picchu or skydiving with your mates, please, go ahead.
Love to watch a movie at home, actually prefer that to going out, just relax, no airs-or-graces, kick back on the couch, have a game of backgammon, monopoly, game of cards. Love country music, music from the 60's and 70's, love going to open air concerts.
