I am a happy, warm, loyal and compassionate lady, who is content and at peace with life. My friends tell me that I am intelligent, respectful of others, have a good sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh. I am a retired professional lady who also likes to keep fit and I am told that I look younger than my years. My greatest joy in life comes from people rather than things or places, so my priorities are with those dearest to me.
I love to relax by enjoying the simple things in life with good company, stimulating and fun conversation, for example, at meal at home, at a restaurant, a good coffee at a coffee shop, movies, occasional show, or just watching a good movie on DVD (curled up on the couch with my future companion). I also enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening, doing minor renovations to my home by myself, cycling, picnics in a lovely setting by a river or lake, drives to the seaside or a country restaurant for a simple meal to taste the local produce, a Devonshire tea in the mountains, visiting local historical places and markets, occasional travel within Australia and some overseas travel in the future only if my partner desires this also.
Now that my two daughters have recently married and no longer at home, I am looking forward to meeting my future soul mate.
Life is enriched when shared with someone special. I would like to meet a man with strong integrity, has a good sense of humour and who enjoys to relax by sharing simple everyday activities with a loving and romantic heart, who would also enjoy making memories into our future.
