Me....I'm a warm, witty, hopefully wise ,affectionate woman, quiet and thoughtful with a preference for meandering in Nature either alone or with a compatible companion rather than being surrounded by noise and chaos.
I write poetry, and love to observe the humorous side of being Human, with a somewhat quirky sense of the ridiculous, and an ability to laugh at myself and the funny side of "becoming mature "
Because much of my working life was involved in the Health and healing area I enjoy taking good care of my body... It's the only one I have and I've certainly not run out of fun things I want it to do with me. I walk each morning, and go to the gym but am not obsessive, just enjoy feeling fit.
I like.... laughing, hugs, Nature in all her moods, camping ( with a comfortable bed, chairs and tables!) reading,live theatre, movies honourable honest people, beards and moustaches (on men), my favourite coffee shop, walking somewhere peaceful, being happy.
I don't like... smokers, loud aggressive people lamingtons ( cakes with dandruff!) Trump, cruelty to animals, litterbugs, and road rage.
When my time is up, I don't intend tiptoeing nervously toward my grave with neat hair, perfect make up, well preserved bodywork, and my designer handbag filled with Quick Eze, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, Laxettes, Vegemite, and a" How to play A Harp" manual, but to go skidding in, hair disheveled, chocolate on my face, worn out, some wrinkles and dents, no luggage, but a twinkle in my eye, muttering happily to myself " Wow..... What a ride ! "
A companion to walk hand in hand with me on the rest of our journey would make that ride complete.....
The" skidding into the grave " part is of course optional, but a sense of humour is not.....
